Event Details
Martin Barre is a founding member and the lead guitarist for the legendary English rock band Jethro Tull. His unique sound and playing style were a major factor in their success, helping their album sales exceed 60 million units worldwide. Widely respected as a group and as individual musicians, Jethro Tull continues to play an important part in classic rock history.
As well as numerous Jethro Tull albums, Barre has worked with artists including Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Gary Moore, and Joe Bonamassa and has shared the stage with legends including Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin.
Coming to Tacoma, Barre will celebrate the musical journey of Jethro Tull throughout the decades with his show, A Brief History of Tull. The show will feature a special visual presentation that, together with the music, highlights the 50 years of Jethro Tull’s musical career. He will be bringing a spectacular show with his touring band, featuring the iconic voice of Dan Crisp on lead vocals, Alan Thomson on bass, and Darby Todd on drums.
