The Theater District is the heart of Tacoma and one of the must-see destinations for tourists.

Here you will find the Tacoma City Theaters, a three-theater complex in excess of 210,000 square feet, the historical Pantages and Rialto Theaters, and the modern Theater on the Square, all owned by the City of Tacoma and privately managed by ASM Global.

The theaters are home to eight resident arts organizations, offering a variety of entertainment. Each year, the theaters host ballets, symphonies, live comedy, musicals, concert bands, opera, and other special events.
