Dear Lord of the Rings Fans,

The best film music is coming! We can’t wait for you to join us, but we regret to inform you that due to unforeseen delays in visa processing for several of our international performers and European orchestra, an unfortunate result of extended administrative procedures beyond our control, The Music of Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Rings of Power in Concert, originally scheduled for December 6 & 7, 2025 will now take place on December 5 and 6, 2026, at 4:30 PM.

The magic is far from lost, just a bit delayed. We’re thrilled to invite you to join us on the new date, when this unforgettable show will be even more spectacular. As a thank-you for your patience, every guest will receive a free photo session with our special guest star.

Ticket Information:
All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. No further action is needed to keep your seats. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled performance, you may request a refund for the duration specified in your Ticketmaster email notification. Please refer to that email for full details and deadlines.

Reserved Seating
All patrons must have a ticket for entry regardless of age or seating requirements, including infants. No refunds. No exchanges.
The Rialto Theater has ADA seating available on the main floor only, the balcony seating is not ADA accessible. Please contact the box office at 253-591-5894 for questions regarding ADA seating.

Bag Policy

All bags will be subject to a search before being allowed into the theater, which may take extra time and slow ingress. We ask that you do not bring any large bags. Due to the historic nature of the building, there is only one entry door at the Rialto Theater, so we recommend bringing clear and/or small bags to help streamline the entry process.

While clear bags are not mandatory, they are highly recommended to expedite your entry.

Please note that no outside food or drink will be allowed inside the theater.

Cashless

Tacoma City Theaters is a fully cashless venue for all box office and concessions purchases. Google Pay, Apple Pay, and all major credit/debit cards are accepted at every point of sale.

Cash acceptance for merchandise varies by event and vendor. Please note that this information is not available in advance, so we recommend planning to pay with a cashless method. Going cashless allows us to speed up transactions, shorten lines, and minimize contact between guests and staff for a smoother, safer experience.

Directions/Parking

To help ensure a smooth experience, Tacoma City Theaters strongly encourages patrons to arrive early, both to secure parking and to allow enough time to enter without missing any part of the performance.
