Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and their friends from Sesame Street are coming to your neighborhood! Be sure to come by Overture Center to say hello, sing, dance, and play alongside your favorite furry friends—all while you follow Elmo’s puppy, Tango, in a fun game of hide-and-seek. So put on your dancing shoes and make your way to where "the air is sweet" for this all-new celebration on Sesame Street!

- All patrons must have a ticket for entry regardless of age or seating requirements, including infants. No refunds. No exchanges.
Post-show Photo Experience pgrades
Meet the characters of “Sesame Street Live! Say Hello!” In this exclusive post-show experience, you and your family will have the opportunity to make a lasting memory of your visit by taking a photo alongside characters from “Sesame Street Live! Say Hello!” The photo experience will start shortly after the end of the show. Please bring your camera—you’ll want to capture every moment!
**Admission to the performance is not included in the Photo Experience ticket. This is a separate upgrade that must be purchased in advance.
**Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian. Each Child, Parent or Guardian must have a show ticket as well as a Photo Experience ticket to attend.
VIP Ticket Package
The VIP Package includes premium Opera Box seating and is sold as a complete set. It’s not sold as an add-on or upgrade.
Each VIP Package includes:
- Two (2) premium reserved seats in the Opera Box section
- Two (2) concession vouchers
- Two (2) Sesame Street activity kits
- One (1) complimentary parking pass
Please note: VIP Opera Box seats are only sold in pairs, and each pair comes with one parking pass.
Bag Policy
Bags will be allowed into the theater only after a bag search, which will take extra time and may slow ingress into the theater. We ask that you not bring any large bags.
While clear bags are not mandatory, we highly recommend them to expedite your entry.
Any outside food or drink will not be allowed inside.
Cashless
Tacoma City Theaters is a fully cashless venue for all box office and concessions purchases. Google Pay, Apple Pay, and all major credit/debit cards are accepted at every point of sale.
Cash acceptance for merchandise varies by event and vendor. Please note that this information is not available in advance, so we recommend planning to pay with a cashless method. Going cashless allows us to speed up transactions, shorten lines, and minimize contact between guests and staff for a smoother, safer experience.
Directions/Parking
To help ensure a smooth experience, Tacoma City Theaters strongly encourages patrons to arrive early, both to secure parking and to allow enough time to enter without missing any part of the performance.
For select events, Premium Experience upgrades may be available and include access to reserved parking. If this option applies to your event, details will be shared in your “Know Before You Go” email.
